It's the mid of 2022, when the world is getting back on its feet post corona. Since we were confined in our houses for close to two years and the world began to heal itself with better quotients on environmental factors, it's our utmost responsibility to respect our self-healing environment.

In this edition, we have three eye-catching sections lined up for you guys. Starting off with my personal favorite (here's to hoping it will be yours too), as it comes from our inspiring ‘Sensei’. In this section named ‘Mini Stories’, the professors and the lab assistants alike have spoken their hearts out just to reach our very own Alumni. We also have another section that received a lot of love from the entire SFIT family; ‘Alumni Speak 2.0’ and I don't think I have to say what's in it cause the name says it all! Although, this time there is a small twist to it. Finally the last surprise for you guys, ‘Spotlight’! I'm pleased that we not only got to view hidden talents of our alums, but also from faculty members and current grad students. It's a great beginning to these sections and we look forward to many such contributions for the future editions.

In this edition, we have focused on how SFIT, despite the lockdown, made its way right up to the summit safely. Be it the sudden shift to remote learning with virtual lectures and online exams, conducting counseling sessions, women's safety workshops, guiding new admissions to blend with our culture or innovatively bringing Iris at the doorstep of our homes, SFIT has acknowledged the setbacks they've encountered as their determination to succeed. And it doesn't end there!

In this edition, in addition to keeping you up to date with the activities that have taken place since our last newsletter, we have also attempted to reach out to more people to tickle their long-lost memories as well as to explore their words of wisdom for our current group of students. And not to restrict this version to only alumni, we've also pooled feedback from the student council and some of the staff who have been with us for the longest time ever and have driven almost all of us during our four years.
