The first day saw students don their favourite merchandise from the iconic Marvel and DC to the comedy series F.R.I.E.N.D.S. In the basket ball area, students contested one another in Wordle game, Arm Wrestling, and the Dog and the Bone.
Tuesday, Day 2 saw folks in black/white checks and stripes flash mob the basketball court for Mandala art and Lagori. Wednesday, Day 3 was the most floral and Hawaiian of all days starring the Saath Sur band performance, Bingo, and guess-the-one-liner game. Kudos to all of you who knew that the departments CMPN, INFT, EXTC, MECH, ELEC & FE are coloured, which became the basis of dressing for day 4 that was packed with a host of games & challenges of Chinese Whispers, Skipping, Push-ups, and Confession Counter. And of course, each day in the series entailed the remarkable fourth year, third year and second year tug of wars.
The Megafest ‘Iris’ was inaugurated by former Director Bro. Jose Thuruthiyil and Principal Dr. Sincy George followed by the final Tug of War between the winners of the first four days and a dance and singing competition. Stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Sunny Kaushal made a celebrity appearance and promoted their song #KyaYehiPyaarHai after which the Voyagers took over with their band performance.
Later, contestants dressed into the outfit of their favourite Bollywood star for the next phase, Mr. and Ms. Iris. The day was not done until the evening’s DJ that rocked all the night and the traditional day’s dhol tasha that followed next day.
